"Facing the Music" seamlessly integrates a powerful PowerPoint lecture with live musical performances, offering an in-depth exploration of resilience and personal growth. The presentation opens with the song "Life Behind the Wheel," where Dave Schlossberg introduces central themes, such as “hearing every wave,” which acknowledges life’s unique gifts and challenges - followed by a breathing exercise that underscores the importance of mindfulness in his journey.
Dave shares the story of his life-altering accident, accompanied by a poignant image of the wrecked car. He candidly discusses his immediate losses, the grieving process, and the long-term psychological effects of trauma.
