Join The Troublemakers for a fun, welcoming and energetic introduction to Saidi Stick Dancing, a lively folkloric dance style originating from Upper Egypt. Characterised by rhythmic movements, playful stick work and infectious music, it's a fantastic way to build confidence, coordination and have a great time while learning something new.

Meet Your Teacher – Sandra
Sandra is a Professional JWAAD Teacher, Assessor, Choreographer and Performer based in the Hull & Humber region, delivering regular classes and workshops across the area. She is known for her friendly, encouraging teaching style and is regularly invited to teach and perform at festivals and events throughout the UK, including Fantasia and Jewel of Yorkshire.
With over 30 years of dance training and teaching experience, Sandra holds qualifications with IDTA, ISTD and UKA across multiple dance disciplines, including Jazz, Latin American, Salsa, Folkloric, Contemporary Modern and Tap. She has also trained extensively in both the UK and Egypt with internationally respected teachers, giving her a deep understanding of Arabic dance, its music, rhythms, styling and traditions.
Sandra's passion is sharing this knowledge in a way that is accessible, respectful and enjoyable for everyone.
