Host: Dr Andrew Ryder
Info: Dr Andrew Ryder, Associate Professor of Higher Education, is Chair of the Department of Educational Leadership at the Watson College of Education at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Dr. Ryder earned both his Ph.D. and M.S. in higher education at Iowa State University and a BA in History and Government from the College of William & Mary. Prior to his academic appointment at UNCW, Dr Ryder worked in academic and student affairs at Iowa State University, Northeastern University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Ryder is an expert in using assessment to improve professional practice in student affairs, assessing campus climates, and the changing nature of professional practice in student affairs.
