About SafeTALK

LivingWorks safeTALK is an interactive, engaging workshop that helps you see and respond to the signs of suicide – safely, confidently and compassionately. •Learn to notice and respond to invitations for help •Practice open, direct conversations about suicide •Build confidence to connect someone with further care and support •Explore how your attitudes and beliefs can affect your ability to help •Work together in a safe, supportive environment with others who care about making a difference. You’ll leave training knowing that you can be a connector – someone who helps others reach safety and hope.

The Family & Children’s Service (F&CS) Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) program provides evidence-based trainings focused on mental health and substance use awareness and suicide prevention. Our goal is to empower individuals with the understanding, language, and tools necessary to recognize and respond to mental health crises. We offer trainings such as Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA),A.I.D., and QPR. Contact [email protected] for questions or to get more information on our trainings.
