Whiskey Tasting & Cocktail Class Experience

Join us at Standard Proof Whiskey Co. in Downtown Nashville for an evening of guided exploration through the world of whiskey.

This engaging hour and a half class is whiskey informative, teaches the basics of bartending and specialty cocktail knowledge all while using our seven different craft whiskeys. Cocktail classes will be led by an expertly trained instructor that will advise, demonstrate, and work 1 on 1 with you and the rest of the class!

Each ticket includes:

• Guided whiskey tasting of 7 of our unique whiskeys.
• Creation of 2-3 of your very own signature cocktails.
• A lot of interactive and immersive fun!

Our expert instructor will lead you on a tasting journey of our infused, premium whiskey uncovering the unique characteristics of each. You'll learn about:

• The Standard Proof Brand: We distill and infuse our whiskey with various natural ingredients such as Texas Pecans, Fresh Ginger, and Ceylon Cinnamon to create an incredibly smooth 80 proof spirit.

• Tasting techniques: Learn to identify the subtle flavors and aromas that define each whiskey.

• How to make incredible cocktails: Throughout the tasting, your instructor will demonstrate how to make amazing styles of cocktails, with all the tips and tricks of a seasoned bartender.

After the first portion of the class, you'll be fully equipped to craft your own signature cocktail. You’ll get hands-on behind the bar, guided by our mixologist, as you:
