Safe Church Training

September 26th from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm for an in-person Safe Church training session. This is a FREE training. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
Please share this with and invite others who you know might either need this training or who might like to attend.
Lunch will be provided.
This is required for all clergy, paid lay employees, and volunteers working with youth or shut-in and/or disabled persons in the Episcopal Diocese of West Virginia. This includes anyone on the Vestry, lay readers, and anyone who may be considering future lay roles within the church. Even if you are curious about these roles or about greater participation within the church, please join us for a day of great training and fellowship.
** Please send us a message if you plan to attend or simply mark / confirm that you are "going" to this event so we can get a headcount of attendees.
Safe Church, Safe Communities (formerly Safeguarding God’s Children) provides participants with the information they need to protect the children they know and care for in their personal and professional lives.
