River Expeditions!
Basecamp Lodging at the River Expeditions Adventure Resort features several different tent camping options. Choose from spacious wooded, festive, alcohol-free and quiet camping areas each complete with picnic tables and fire rings. Within the campground, you are within easy walking distance to our New showerhouse and restrooms, dining area, pool and hot tub, Fire Creek Lodge and Conference Center, Outfitters Store, Red Dog River Saloon & Grill, and Welcome Center. If you still need to burn off some energy after your white water rafting trip, there’s also on-site paintball, a zipline/ canopy tour, sand volleyball and hiking to enjoy! The pool will be closed after Labor day but the 18 person HOT TUB will be open, Weather permitting.
They also have Cabins & Bungalows, must be booked on your own.

Raft the New River on Saturday and watch BASE Jumpers leap 876 feet from the world famous New River Gorge Bridge. On Sunday, raft the Gauley River for the last time this year.
Saturday Bridge Day is a festival on the Bridge the tallest Arched bridge in the western hemisphere!! They shut down the bridge with food and activities including Base jumping and repelling!! Its the only time humans are allowed to walk on the bridge!!
New River Gorge has many hiking trails and tons of breathtaking views. Feels like a world away and still have a walmart 10 minutes down the road!!!

Cost $345 3 nights of primitive camping, lite breakfast daily and
Rafting Saturday morning down the New River (mostly class lll's relaxation with excitement)
Rafting Sunday morning the (Beast of the East class V's Wild & Wonderful) Upper Gauley or Lower Gauley!
OPTION 2...
$240 for 3 nights of primitive camping, lite breakfast daily and Saturday trip on the New River only!

For those looking for alittle extra. I am going down Wednesday to chase some waterfalls and lots of sight seeing on the way to Camp!! Cost $15 a night for extra of camping. Those interested please let me know asap! For more details and options.
