Welcome to Sacred Space Detroit!
Sacred Space Detroit culminates a six-month exploration of what is sacred, with each month focusing on questions about past, present, and future sacred spaces. Participants engaged in movement and sound meditations, conversations, and presentations, sharing their insights and ideas. The community contributed to the installation, creating a rich, collaborative environment that reflects diverse interpretations of sacredness.
The Sacred Space Detroit exhibition runs from July 25 to August 1, 2026, featuring an opening ceremony on July 25 with presentations at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, and a closing ceremony on August 1 with the same presentation times. It will be held at Irwin House, 2351 W Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 48208.
