About this Event
We'll explore how pranayam and ancient sound can help in "Navigating Relationships" smootlhy. The change starts from each one of us! Relationship with oneself and others!
For love to stay fresh lifelong, you need to go beyond the initial attraction and the ever- changing emotions.
As love is not an emotion, it is your very own existence.
When faced with storms of emotions, we end up uttering words or taking actions that we regret later. This is because neither at school nor at home, have we been taught how to handle anger, sorrow or any negative emotion.
This is where knowledge of the pranayamas, dhyan (meditation) plays a vital role. For every rhythm in the mind, there is a corresponding rhythm in the breath. So, when you cannot handle your mind directly, you can handle the mind through the breath. No matter what emotions come and go, use the breath to get the ability to relish your life with your loved one.
In this workshop, discover the power of the pranayama and how it can help you have a say over our thoughts and our feelings. Learn how breath can help in letting go of anger and negative moods at our will.
This workshop includes:
- Pranayama and Yoga Nidra to calm the mind and help us navigate through relationships with ease
- Hear about the role Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY) plays in navigating relationships
- Uplifting Kirtan
- Find out about steps you can take to learn SKY.
The workshop will be led by a trained Art of Living Instructor.
Venue: Room C in Yaletown roundhouse community centre.
