Sacred Music for Sacred Forests Concert with Nina Rao & Friends
About this Event
About the Event
Join us for an evening of kirtan, music, and satsang with Nina Rao and Friends to raise awareness and funds for saving wild tigers and their habitats across India - the Land of the Tiger.
India is the last viable habitat for wild tigers and one of the most biologically diverse regions in Eurasia.
Protecting this ecosystem means safeguarding not just tigers, but also elephants, langurs, deer, birds, rivers, plants, and the sacred balance of nature itself.
This concert is a celebration of India’s living tradition of honoring wildlife as sacred embodiments of Mother Earth. Through intentional prayer, chanting, and community, let us come together to protect nature and give thanks. We will also share a few words about some of the critical work being done to protect India’s wildlife and wild lands.

- Go Dharmic (The Dharma Forest): Supporting the massive rewilding initiative in the Sundarbans to plant mangroves, which restore natural habitats and shield coastal communities.
