Sacred Maker Arts Collective Fall-iday Faire

Welcome to the Sacred Maker Arts Collective Fall-fiat Faire! Join us for a day filled with creativity, community, and celebration at The FAM Oakland. We are honoring a diverse collection of fall holidays including Día de los Muertos, Halloween, and Diwali. Our all-ages event will feature local artisans sharing offerings such as prints, jewelry, and herbs, delicious food from local chefs and food vendors, a community altar for remembrance and honoring, and guided activities including face-painting and zine-making. Don't miss out on the opportunity to celebrate with us and support the arts scene in East Oakland!

Tickets are available for sliding scale $10-20. The event is NOTAFLOF (no one turned away for lack of funds) so please contribute what you can. All proceeds support our mission of developing a community arts space in East Oakland. Bring your kids - free for ages 12 and under! Tickets will also be available at the door.

About SMAC: We are a diverse and multifaceted community of interdisciplinary artists, organizers, and educators dedicated to communal creation. Our work is guided by an explicit dedication to decolonization and transformative justice. We are in the process of establishing a permanent home in collaboration with The FAM Oakland with the goal of cultivating an accessible arts coworking and maker-space, workshops, cohorts, events, and mutual aid in East Oakland. This is our first event in the new space! Get involved to help us fundraise and realize our dreamy dreams!
