Sacred Fire: Poetry, Song & Collective Storytelling
About this Event
Through gentle writing prompts, sound, movement, reflection, and creative play, participants will be invited to reconnect with their inner voice and discover new pathways to self-expression through poetry and song. Together, we will explore themes of resilience, belonging, wisdom, and sacred creativity while celebrating the unique stories and strengths each participant brings to the room.
As part of the experience, participants will contribute words, phrases, and reflections that Shone will weave into a collaborative creative piece to be gifted to the Women's Centre as a lasting reflection of the community's collective voice.
No previous writing or musical experience is required. All women and gender-diverse folks ages 18 or older are welcome.
Refreshments will be provided, along with all necessary materials. Registration is required.
