What to expect - DJ'd vinyl music (new & old school) with SACA LA MOIS DJ, bar, dancing (Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, Kizomba, Semba, Konpa, & much more), impeccable vibes!At 7:30PM, the Tas Uni Social Dance Society will run an intro to Salsa class, suitable for total beginners. No partner required, wear comfy shoes, and learn some new moves!
SACA LA MOIS DJ!! (a.k.a. Moses Iten) is a Tassie-based DJ who has toured all over Australia and the world as a Cumbia and Bass specialist, playing tropical music from his vast crates of vinyl and digital dubplates.
Step into the world of the Tropiques Social Club, an immersive celebration of music from the equatorial band of the planet — spanning the rich soundscapes of Africa, South America, Southeast Asia, the Caribbean, and beyond.
The Saca La Mois DJ!! mission is to keep learning and sharing music from all over the globe, exposing Hobart to unreleased and undefined new sounds sourced straight from producer to you on the dancefloor.
