Sabor y Ritmo (English: Flavour and Rhythm) are a Naarm/Melbourne-based Afro-Cuban jazz ensemble, led by Santiago-born Cuban conga player, Rodolfo Hechavarria (Panga).
The group, consisting of Panga, Liam Powell (bass), Luke Koszański (guitar), Will Larsen (woodwind), and special guest Hue Blanes (keys), traverses a range of Afro-Cuban styles, including Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, and more.
Sabor y Ritmo are quickly gaining a reputation as a must-see Latin Jazz quintet in town, drawing a following of Latin dancers and jazz lovers.
