Just feel the excitement brewing! We are only a short time away from the much-anticipated SAAC Carolinas Spring Event! Date: Saturday May 9th, 2026
Location: Gibson Mill (10 minutes North of Charlotte Motor Speedway)
325 McGill Ave
Concord, NC 28027
Time: Starting around 8:00 am (though earlier is just fine) and quitting around 2:00 pm.
It is an excellent opportunity to show what masterful machines old Carroll Shelby produced during those years of performance. At the same time, Tom Cotter is holding his regularly scheduled Cars and Coffee event sponsored by Hagerty & AutoBarn Classic Cars so there will be plenty of chrome and paint to look at.
SAAC members will have a section set aside just for the SAAC group.
There will be Shelby trivia with prizes, a display of historic Shelby collectables, trinkets, and of course, cars.
There is ample room for trailer parking at the rear and so much to see and do at the Gibson Mill complex including several restaurants, the food court, a couple of breweries and of course the famous Depot Antique Mall where you can shop for something unique and different. And make sure to visit AutoBarn Classic Cars where you can tour the 80,000sf showroom and take in all the beautiful cars they have for sale.
Any Ford and Ford Powered vehicles are welcome to join this special day at Gibson Mill. If it is powered by Ford, then come on down and put it on display!
This will be a fun, family-friendly event that you should not miss.
