S-130/S-190/L-180/ICS-700 & 800 Introduction to Wildland Firefighting

This course will be held over 6 days. On campus @ CCC. Clairmont Hall. C-138

Thurs-Fri 16-17th from 8am-5pm

Thurs-Fri 23-24 from 8am-5pm

Thurs-Fri 30-May 1 from 8am-5pm

This course provides an introduction to wildland fire behavior, wildland firefighting safety and wildland firefighting techniques. The course covers the basic skills necessary to fight wildland fires under close supervision. NWCG Courses completed in class include S-130, S-190, L-180, IS-100 and IS-700. Also includes the Work Capacity Test (WCT) which is needed for employment.

Clackamas Community College is a recognized Region 6 MOU training provider. All fire classes sponsored by CCC meet or exceed federal NWCG standards. Upon successful course completion students will receive Certificates of Completion from Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon.
