RVRR Adventure Run - Plays in the Park!

Hear ye, hear ye! RVRR invites you to join us on July 11th for an Adventure Run featuring patriotism, drama, and running! 🇺🇸 🏃 🦅
Event will feature a run, a picnic, then attendance at a performance of 1776 at Middlesex County Plays in the Park.
We will provide paper products, water, & Red, White, and Blue Sangria. You provide food to share at the picnic and a chair to sit on for the play. Food and drink are allowed at the play, so feel free to bring snacks for that as well. Concession stands are also available inside the theater area.
Date: Saturday, July 11th (Rain Date Saturday, July 18th)
Time: 5:30PM onwards (tickets/seats available starting at 5:30; play starts at 8PM
Location: Roosevelt Park, Edison. Main entrance is off Grandview Avenue and parking is free. Members will assemble at the Plays in the Park stage (1 Pine Dr, Edison)
Details: Arrive early to help us acquire seats, then regroup outside the theater area to enjoy a picnic and if interested, a group run at 6PM in Roosevelt Park. Join us for the run, the picnic, the play...whatever your schedule allows! If you’re busy earlier, just join us for the play! Hate musicals?? Then join us early for food. Just want to run? That's fine too. We just want to have fun.

1776 is based on the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, telling a story of the efforts of John Adams to persuade his colleagues to vote for American independence and to sign the document. The show premiered on Broadway in 1969 where it received acclaim and won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
