Ruth Wyand will give an acoustic blues performance on Saturday, June 20, at the house.
Hailing from North Carolina, this will be the 4th trip to Cape by the outstanding North Carolina artist. She is one of our favorite house guests and the authenticity, knowledge of music, and empathy make for an enjoyable show. Ruth specializes in classic blues with an emphasis on famous blues singers like Bessie Smith, Etta James, Big Mama Thorton, Billie Holiday, and a host of others. Her original compositions mirror the musical style of the greats.
Show is June 20, Saturday, from 7-9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Bring your favorite beverage. Tips, all of which go to the artist, generally range from $10-$20 per person ($15 is typical). This is a show you don't want to miss. Please call 573-270-1009 or email [email protected] for reservations so we know how many chairs to set up.
