About this Event

What:

We are very excited to welcome Ruta Sepetys to Houston to celebrate her new book, A Fortune of Sand.

Event Guidelines:

  • Each ticket includes entry to the event for up to TWO people plus ONE copy of A Fortune of Sand.
  • You will pick up your book at the event. In the signing line, Ruta will personalize A Fortune of Sand and will sign only books brought from home.
  • Ruta will take photos during the signing line at the conclusion of the event. If you attend with a group, there will be a group photo rather than individual ones.
  • If you are not feeling well and cannot attend, we will get your book signed for you.
  • Your book will be available for you to pick up following the event. If you would like your book shipped, please email [email protected] to coordinate shipping. As a reminder, refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event; you can return your ticket through Eventbrite.
  • If you have a disability and require accommodation for this event, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event by phoning (281) 497-8675 or emailing [email protected].

About the Author:

Ruta Sepetys is an internationally acclaimed, #1 New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction published in over sixty countries and forty languages. Winner of the Carnegie Medal and honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters, Ruta gives voice to underrepresented history and those who experienced it.
