Welcome to the 2026 RunGreno Trail Race event page. The 4th year of the event, the race has fast become a popular fixture on the South Yorkshire race calendar. This year's race will take place on Sunday 3rd May, registration opening at 8:30am for a 10 am race start.
The run is a fundraising event for the Grenoside Scout group, with the ethos that it's not only a great course and event for the runners, but something that the whole community can come out to support and enjoy.
The 7.3 Mile route that takes place within some of the most popular outdoor areas of North Sheffield and its immediate surroundings. Entries are expected to open the first working day after New Year.
As in previous years, Food and drink stands will be available throughout the race for runners and spectators.
The race is well signed and marshalled throughout, chip timed, trophies for placed runners and winners in the V40, V50 and V60 and V70 categories, plus team event winners trophies.
Runners have a choice as to whether they would like to receive a medal on entry. There will also be free professional photos to download. Water table at approx 5 miles.
Bag drop and toilets available at race HQ.
There will be no pay on the day entries (closing date TBA) and is limited to runners aged 18 and over on the day of the event.
Unfortunately, due to our race permits we cannot allow dogs to accompany runners
