Run Fur Their Lives 5k

Run.Wag.Repeat.

This event is to help raise funds and awareness for a beloved non profit organization in our community: Fur Pets Sake. All proceeds from this event will go to Fur Pets Sake . This helps cover rescue fees (shelter, food, vaccinations, and additional vet services ie spay / neuter).

The cause is serious; the race is not! Feel free to walk, jog or run. Have your pup tag along, dogs are welcome! Costumes (for you and your pup) are allowed and encouraged.

Your registration alone is more than we can hope for. If you feel inclined to provide additional donations, these are a few items that we encourage you to bring to the event:

Dog Beds / Blankets. Dog Food (wet or dry). Treats. Toys. Potty Training Pads. Cleaning Supplies (bleach, paper towels, clorox wipes, etc)

By Purchasing tickets to this event you acknowledge and agree to the following consent:

1. Medical and Safety Acknowledgment
I agree not to participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I understand that participation is a potentially hazardous activity and assume all risks, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants or spectators, adverse weather (heat, cold, wind, rain), slippery surfaces, overhead hazards, and the crowded nature of the event.

2. Release of Liability
I, for myself and any person entitled to act on my behalf, release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless all sponsors, coordinators, and their employees, volunteers, agents, and successors from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages, known or unknown, arising out of my participation in the Event, even if such claims arise from negligence or fault on the part of the Releasees.

3. Authorization
I grant permission to administer or arrange for any medical assistance deemed necessary, including transportation to a hospital or medical facility, and to access my medical records and information for such purposes

4. Rules and Compliance
I have read and agree to abide by all Event rules, including restrictions on bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, animals, and personal music players. I understand that officials have the right to deny or suspend participation for any reason.

5. Photographs and Media
I consent to the use of my photograph, motion picture, recording, or other likeness for any legitimate purpose related to the Event.

6. Children’s Participation
If applicable, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

7. Pet Consent All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Owners / Handlers are fully responsible for the behavior and control of their dog(s). Dogs displaying aggressive, dangerous or disruptive behavior may be removed from the event. Female dogs in heat are not permitted. Owners must immediately clean up after their dog(s) and properly dispose of waste. Dogs attenting should be current on recommended vaccinations and free from contagious illness.
