Run for Jamaica – ERC Community Hurricane Relief Run.

This November, join Emancipated Run Crew (ERC) and friends for a community solidarity run/walk that honours our shared history and supports Jamaica’s recovery from Hurricane Melissa.

Falling on Remembrance Sunday weekend, Remember, Rebuild, Renew invites us to pause, move, and give back — remembering those who served, rebuilding hope for those affected, and renewing our sense of unity and community.

We’ll begin with a short reflection to honour Caribbean servicemen and women who served during the World Wars and those impacted by Hurricane Mellisa, before setting off together for a 5K or 10K through Hyde Park.
People will be organised in the following groups.
5 K Walk
A gentle, reflective walk around the Serpentine. Ideal for families and supporters.
5K Run
A steady, social run suitable for all levels.
10K Run
Two loops of the 5K route for those who want to go a little further.

No bag drop - please come ready to run.
This is not a race — it’s a community gathering for connection, culture, and care.
Fundraising

Participation is free, but donations are strongly encouraged.
All funds raised will go directly to the Government of Jamaica Official Disaster Relief Fund to support those affected by Hurricane Melissa.
