The Rumi Poets Collective seeks to foster a supportive community of confident poets. Our meetups provide a place to socialize and/or get some work done. How you use the night is up to you!
You are always welcome to simply hang out and get to know your fellow poets, but if you need more, we offer a space for you to write alone or body-double, give or receive constructive critiques, get advice on what and where to submit or present, take a writing prompt for inspiration, or dissect the importance of comma placement. If there is something else you need or think could be helpful, let us know! We are just getting started and want your feedback!
We are currently compiling a list of writing groups in Malta to be available for attendees to browse and find the group that’s right for them. If you have a writing group and would like to be included, please send us a message!
We are open to all poets, from beginners to professionals. We all have something to teach and something to learn. You do not have to be local; if you are visiting and would like to join us, please do.
