Rumbullion! - Whiskey in Tiki with River Roots Whiskey!

Tonga Tim resurrects his much loved Rumbullion education series class - Whiskey in Tiki! This is an extra special installment featuring Cleveland's new River Roots Barrel Company. This unique operation selects rare barrels of rye and bourbon from Kentucky and elsewhere to share with people that would otherwise never get to try them.

This class introduces you to the origins, development, and styles of whiskies across the globe, with a larger focus on the American styles that make their way more commonly into tiki drinks. As we gain this overall understanding of the spirits, we will investigate more closely how whiskies made their mark in classic and modern tiki drinks.

The class will feature three classic whiskey tiki cocktails, each made with a different spirit from the River Roots portfolio. You will also get to taste these base spirits alone, including Founders Reserve, The Land (7 yr barrel proof rye) and The Gaurdian (9+ yr barrel proof bourbon). Special guest Tom Gray from River Roots will join us to explain how these whiskies were found, and what makes them so special.

Tim's class guarantees to show you new things about whiskey, even for aficianados, while enjoying some great liquid creations all along the way!
