Get ready to be a part of the exciting Rueda de Casino Flashmob on April 12th! This class is open to all levels—no partner needed—and will prepare you to join in on the fun, vibrant Cuban group dance where you’ll switch partners throughout the entire performance!In this class, we’ll break down the basics of Rueda de Casino, a dynamic Cuban dance form that’s traditionally performed in a circle. You'll learn the essential moves, calls, and how to flow smoothly as part of the group. Whether you’re new to Rueda or looking to brush up, we’ll make sure you’re ready to join the flashmob on April 12th.
Important Details:
Attendance Required: To participate in the flashmob on April 12th, you MUST attend the class on March 30th and this class.
No Partner Needed: You’ll rotate partners throughout the class, so you can come solo or bring friends—it's all about teamwork and fun!
Open to All Levels: Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class will help you get comfortable with Rueda's fun and fast-paced moves.
What You Will Learn:
Basic Rueda de Casino Steps: Learn the essential movements and footwork.
Partner Switching: Master the art of smoothly transitioning partners in a circle.
Rueda Calls: Learn the specific commands used to guide the group through different moves.
Flashmob Routine: We’ll focus on choreography that you’ll perform as part of the flashmob on April 12th.
This is your chance to experience the energy of Cuban Dance while being part of something special! Even if you’re not aiming for the flashmob, feel free to come along and enjoy the learning process.
