FREE ENTRYJoin us for a special Shelter Open Day, held in collaboration with KONG Day, where we celebrate enrichment and the important role it plays in the health and wellbeing of animals. This is a fun filled, educational event for all ages, with hands on activities, behind the scenes tours, and the chance to meet some of our adorable shelter animals.
What’s Happening on the Day?
- Puppy Meet and Greets – Cuddle and play with our adorable pups.*
- Cat and Small Animal Enrichment – Create toys and treats for our Shelter animals or take home to yours.
- KONG Stuffing – Help make enrichment treats for our shelter dogs as part of KONG Day.
- Soft Toy Microchipping – A fun hands on educational experience for kids.
- Raffle Ticket Sales – Support our Million Paws Walk raffle.
- Shelter Tours– Get a guided look behind the scenes.
- Food and coffee trucks will be on-site.
- Animals will be available for adoption.
Wet weather plan: This event will be postponed if wet weather occurs.
