About this Event

Step into the boots of a Royal Marines Commando for a day.

Across this immersive experience, you'll train alongside serving Royal Marines, get hands-on with specialist equipment, and gain a true insight into life in one of the world’s most respected fighting forces.
Choose between Saturday, 15 November or Sunday ,16 November to take part in this unforgettable experience at RMR London (Wandsworth). Each day will run from approximately 08:30–17:00, with a break for lunch (attendees are free to purchase lunch locally).
Key activities

Get hands-on with state-of-the-art Commando weapons and kit.
Take on challenging physical training led by a Royal Marines Physical Training Instructor.
Test your nerve abseiling under the guidance of Commando Mountain Leaders.
Discover what it takes to earn the Green Beret, with presentations and Q&A sessions tailored for those interested in a Royal Marines career.
Speak one-on-one with serving Royal Marines for first-hand insight and advice.

What to bring

Please arrive in comfortable civilian clothing with a warm jacket. You will need:

Trainers
Sports socks
Sport shorts
Sports T-shirt
Windproof/waterproof jacket
Valid ID (driving licence, passport, etc. for entry)
Trousers
Warm jacket
Long sleeve top suitable for abseiling
Small towel
Socks
Backpack
Packed lunch or money for lunch
Water bottle

This experience is open to:

In-flight Royal Marines candidates (pre-CPC)

UK or Commonwealth citizens considering a Royal Marines career

Students, sports club members, and physically active individuals curious to test themselves in a Commando environment

Tickets and availability
Spaces are limited to 60 attendees per day, so early booking is recommended.

Participants must sign the liability waiver as part of registration. Registration cannot be completed until this waiver is submitted.

Participants must be aged 16+ and UK or Commonwealth citizens.

Further joining instructions, including kit and timings, will be sent prior to the event.
