Roxanne Gay at the 2026 Louisville Book Festival

Any ticket gains you entry to the event until 1:50pm. At that point, we will allow as many people in the standby line as possible.

Sold out? Fear not! There will be an in-person standby line for each of the ticketed author sessions. The line will open an hour before doors.

We’re thrilled to offer a limited number of opportunities (through the Foxing Books website) to have your book signed by Roxane Gay.

Preorders are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Only 100 books will be available for personalization by Roxane Gay. To make this opportunity available to as many readers as possible, personalized books are limited to one per person.

An additional 200 pre-signed books will also be available. Once all 200 pre-signed copies have been claimed, no additional copies will be available through this preorder.

If you are among the first 100 guests to reserve a personalized book, you will receive a wristband (at Roxane Gay's session during the book festival) granting access to the personalization line.

Your name will be printed on your receipt and placed inside your book at the title page where Roxane will sign. Please review the name carefully. If you would like the book personalized to a different name, clearly print the correct name at the top of the receipt. Please use legible print and leave the receipt inside the book at the title page.

Because Roxane will be with us for a limited amount of time, we ask that everyone keep their interaction brief so every guest in line has the opportunity to have their book personalized.

Once the 100 personalized-book spots and 200 pre-signed books are claimed, they are gone. We strongly encourage you to preorder early.
