The Louisville Book Festival is hosting a rare in-person pitch event where writers with completed manuscripts can pitch their work directly to literary agents and skip the slush pile.
This is extraordinary for any literary community, and especially exciting for Louisville. Many writers never get the chance to sit across from a literary agent, share their book, ask questions, and take a real step toward traditional publishing.
