Hello friends of the Roundtable!
It's time again to gather, Sunday December 15th
We need your art, your voices, our gathering, always, but now more than ever.

Please stay home if you're sick or have had a known exposure to Covid or other highly contagious bug!
There are immunocompromised people in our community who would love to join us (Galen and I have also been hopefully temporarily immuno-compromised in our experience with long covid.)
We'll have an air purifier going for the event.

Wells of beauty and dreams of springing life are welcome...
Listening ears and hearts are needed.
Songs, poems, spoken word, stories, improvisation, dreams are all welcome...

Join us for this non-mic'd open mic.
This is a beautiful, community-centered, uplifting night of sharing.
Please come with a listening ear and open heart, and something to share if you wish!
Depending on how many people join, everyone will have time for at least one share, and possibly more, as we go 'round the circle!

After our travels in the UK and Ireland, we were inspired to host this space where there is no stage and no microphone, and all are free to share around the circle.
We were especially lit up and inspired by the sweet open mic we joined in a little stone pub in St. Just, Cornwall, which was in this same style - people sharing songs, poetry and stories, and playing along with each other's songs.
And by the open sessions we were welcomed into in Dingle - An Daingean, Ireland, which were mostly for traditional Irish tunes, but with a mixture of this same style of sharing!
In a similar vein to those sessions, this is a space that can be open for improvising and playing on each other's songs if it is wanted, and just as welcome to play on your own as well!
