Christy Vogel, Founder of Sounding Joy, shares her deeply personal journey and advocacy for children with hearing loss. Her presentation highlights the prohibitive cost of hearing aids, the mental health risks faced by children who do not receive early support, and how adversity can be transformed into meaningful impact. Christy is a passionate speaker with an incredible story to share. Her presentation covers the prohibitive cost of hearing aids and the unfortunate addiction and suicide rates of children with hearing loss because they didn’t get the help they needed.
She will take the tragedies from her life and turn them from “what happened TO her” to “what happened FOR her”. Christy will leave your club educated as well as inspired. This is not a call for donations, but a call for your members to consider a change of perspective with some of their most difficult challenges.
