Rosehill Cemetery Witchy Birding

Join us Saturday October 26th at Rosehill Cemetery for a witchy afternoon of birding. All skills and experience levels are welcome!

B IPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ and Disabled birders are welcome.

Families and children welcomed, please rsvp for anyone using binoculars.

Getting there: Meet at the entrance near North Western Avenue & West Bryn Mawr Avenue, street parking is available as well as public transit. For directions using public transportation visit www.transitchicago.com. There are bike racks outside along the road as well as a fence and many posts to lock up your bike.

Accessibility & Terrain: We will walk about 1 mile of paved and mowed grass path in the gardens of the cemetery. Bathrooms in the cemetary may not be available.

Dress: Please dress in comfortable weather appropriate clothing and lots of layers including gloves. October weather can be very cold and shift quickly so please bear this in mind.

Everyone is expected to be respectful of being in a public burial ground and respectful of any other visitors who may be present.

Registration: Registration is limited and spots are prioritized for LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC & Disabled folks. You will receive an Eventbrite confirmation of your RSVP at the email address you provide. We will also send an automatic reminder email to attendees within 24 hours of the event. Please cancel your ticket or email us at [email protected] at least 24 hours before the event if you are no longer able to attend. Waitlist spots are prioritized for LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC & Disabled folks.
