About this Event
(FBC) is dedicated to promoting inclusivity & safety in birding for everyone especially LGBTQIA2S+, BIPOC & disabled folks and women.
Join FBC as we explore Humboldt Park on 9/21 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in search of migratory songbirds, waterfowl, and raptors. No prior experience with birding is required. This is a beginner friendly event and organization. Families are also welcome to join (children do not need to RSVP). Binoculars will be available for loan upon request.

Getting There: Humboldt Park is easily accessible by public transit via the North Avenue (72), Division Street (70) and California (94) bus routes. For directions using public transportation visit www.transitchicago.com. There is free parking located at the boathouse. There are bike racks situated around the park.
Accessibility & Terrain: The terrain is rather even and the path we will travel on is paved. Be prepared to walk about 1- 1.5 miles while birding. Bathrooms in the park may not be available.
Dress: Please dress in comfortable weather appropriate clothing and lots of layers. September weather can shift quickly so please bear this in mind.
