About this Event

This event is for ANYONE to attend. Only people who performed or produced a show at Fringe 2026 will be given a chance to speak. Slots will be 60 seconds. The objective is for us to start to understand our experiences and potentially break down some of the barriers that naturally arise after such an odd experience as traveling to another country to do an massive venture like a show. And everyone will have various goals met or unmet and this will help us feel less alone in that journey, that is my hope. Then after we will all gather to talk and connect and try to build friendships and relationships that could grow into future projects, friendships, rented rooms, dinner parties, play readings, group chats, short films, feature films, dance parties, whatever those dreams you had when you started purusing the arts in New York City....ANYTHING.

I am going to be hosting the event and my dream for it is to have every single seat in the theater full. I am a writer and actor and comedian. I am now the Creative Producer at SoHo Playhouse and one thing I am incredibly passionate about is creating more community in the various scenes and groups around New York. I think it is more imperative than ever for us as artists to be in the mix with one another, not isolated back into our own projects and friend groups. I have done Fringe 4 times, 5 different shows, I know the feeling of coming back to New York and feeling that let down feeling of what to do next, what was the mountain experience (or massive let down experience!). Well, the point of it was to do it and you did do it. And maybe you will again, but...my job, as I see it, is to create some space for more theater and more art to be produced in New York City and the only way to do that is for people to meet and get excited about what can be possible. And for us all to build on whatever good or bad happened at Fringe, to continue momentum. Both personal and group momentum. So....come to rose and thorn and let's see what's next for all of us.
