RoR Step Into Dressage Clinic Gain confidence in the dressage arena.
Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) invites you to take part in a Step Into Dressage Clinic - a supportive introduction to dressage designed specifically for riders of former racehorses.
Delivered in collaboration with British Dressage (BD) qualified coaches and judges, this clinic provides a “mock competition” experience where riders can ride through a test, receive expert coaching and feedback, and learn how to confidently prepare for competition.
Perfect for:
Riders preparing for their first dressage test
Those wanting to understand dressage judging criteria
Anyone looking to improve their scores in a calm, encouraging setting
Led by: BD-qualified dressage coaches and experience judges.
Open to: RoR-registered horses and riders.
Step into dressage with guidance, structure, and support - and discover just how far your former racehorse can go.
This event will take place in the International Arena with dressage boards and will enable you to have a go at a dressage test with the support of BD Coach and Judge Lucy Warbrick.
Dress to impress - Dress in your competition clothing, but don't worry if you do not have any then just attend in your smart riding attire. If you are able to plait your horse as you would for compteition then you are welcome to.
Please note if there is a specific dressage test you would like to go through, this is for bookings made 7 working days before the event. For late bookings we will choose which test, as these are ordered in advancve from BD.
