Roots of Lambada with Gilson

Join Gilson for a dive into the roots of Lambada and Brazilian Zouk! Lambada is a vibrant dance full of joy and flow – and Gilson is a pioneer in the dance whose warmth and playfulness make him the perfect guide.
Saturday we’ll dive into a bootcamp on Lambada foundations designed to help you hit the social floor – whether you are new to lambada or excited to add more play into your foundations. After the Saturday workshops, we’ll sit down with Gilson to learn about the history of Lambada and Brazilian Zouk through stories from someone who was there… and both witnessed and influenced the evolution and spread of these dances we love. Then we dive into a Zouk and Lambada social (with a sleep-friendly schedule!).
Sunday we’ll dive deeper into Lambada and explore boneca variations that can add flavor to both your lambada and Zouk.
We just extended the social and added another hour of practica on Sunday for extra time to practice and play! 🔥😁
