Four decades of Edmonton hip hop, one stage, one night.
This isn't a showcase, it's a family reunion for a scene that's been building since a Brooklyn DJ first spun records on campus radio in 1980.
Seven of the city's rising voices hit the mic: Jayme Minor, Trip the Rabbit, 587 Jasper, Kyte, Billy, Margui, and Jimmy "Carbon", hosted by MC Jordan Morgan.
That's the current generation. Here's the twist: we've invited four of Edmonton's actual hip hop pioneers, the artists who built this scene before it had a name.
