James Speiser on guitar / vocals puttin' it down for Pattie Melt on tenor sax! This marks 21 years playing together in the Denver Scene.Covering Ray Charles, BB King, Stray Cats, Stevie Wonder, Funky Blues, Swing, New Orleans Funk, old school R&B favorites and some great original music too.
James grew up in the vibrant scene of blues clubs in Denver from back in the day. He has also lived and toured in Austin, San Fran & Nola. 21 years ago James teamed up with Pattie on tenor sax and they have performed 1000's of gigs, festivals, and events together as Roots & Rhythm.
Roots & Rhythm was just featured on KWGN 2 and KDVR 31
and in
the film series Blue Roots Denver for the 5 Points Jazz Fest, Jazz on Film Series. They also debuted their last album on KUVO 89.3.
