Join us for an afternoon of restoration, reflection, and community connection at Rooted in Self-Care, a special fundraising event hosted by Shaping Health Equity, Inc. This event is designed to nourish your mind, body, and spirit while supporting our mission to advance health equity for Balck women and girls.

Donations are welcome and deeply appreciated—your support directly helps us continue our work to advance health equity for Black women and girls. You may donate online or onsite at the event . Every contribution makes a meaningful impact.

This is more than a fundraiser — it’s a wellness experience centered on rest, resilience, and empowerment.

• A restorative yoga session led by a certified instructor
• Somatic breathwork techniques to release stress and promote inner calm
• A yoga mat for you to use and take home (we encourage you to bring your own for extra cushion)
• A delicious, healthy lunch (fresh salads, wraps, and fruit)
• A complimentary fresh-pressed juice
• A wellness-themed goodie bag with giveaways, helpful resources, and a small succulent plant

All experience levels are welcome — no prior yoga experience necessary. Just bring yourself and wear comfortable clothing.
