Full Moon Gatherings

We are all innately whole, complete, and abundant individually and in community. This is one teaching, of many, Grandmother moon shares with us during her fullness. Join us each month to celebrate these qualities in different healing ways during our Full Moon Circles at Ruscombe Holistic Community Health Center.

The Full Moon Circles are a series of in-person events that empower and reconnect us with the strong healing of Grandmother Moon, to help us find the energetic ancestrol rhythm between ourselves and the more than human world. Our ancestors will speak to us through shared cultural stories, as to how they celebrated the moon, and we will move, meditate, and offer ceremony to invoke lunar energy. We may even have a special healing modality to enjoy each month.

January is a very special Wolf Full Moon when we shed our final tufts of unwanted "fur" from the past year, and howl out our intentions for the coming year. This will done with the guidance of Nereus North Goldstar's crystal arrays of Pyrite and Lemurian to inspire our intentions and celebrate the return of the light. We will also have a traditional ritual of casting a circle, invoking directions, and asking with gratitude for energy from the Grandmother Moon.

If temperature is below 50 degrees we will have most of the evening indoors with a portion of the ceremony outside, when we call down the energy of the moon. We will provide chairs, blankets, mats, and bolsters for comfort, but feel free to bring your own. You are invited to wear festive clothing, a necklace you love, and bring a small offering to Mother Earth, Grandfather Sun or Grandmother Moon. Hope to see you there! Blessed Be!

Facilitators:

Elizabeth McCarthy, LCPC, RYT is a wisdom-seeker and spirit-keeper from the Scotch-Irish, French, and Wyandotte people with decades of training and personal study in somatic and buddhist psychology rooted in formal degrees in Anthropology and Community Psychology. Her most recent certification is in Nature-Informed Therapy, which guides her in co-leading annual women's retreats, as well as individuall and group experiences. She owns Healing Self Wellness where she serves clients from a variety of backgrounds with mental health therapy and poly-vagal yoga. Learn more at www.thehealingself.com.

Nereus North Goldstar is a Crystal Resonance Therapist and Reiki Teacher who coaches people through transformation with grounded, metaphysical practices. He co-authored the book and deck , which can be read in English, French, Italian, and is forthcoming in German, Czech, and Dutch. Working with clients in person and through distance healing sessions, Nereus also shares a free monthly email newsletter about practical ways to work with crystals and other healing modalities in our everyday lives.
