Building on the library's Eat, Play, Read initiative, this program guides adults in making informed, healthy choices and in effectively tracking their health. Throughout the course, you will engage in meaningful discussions and receive support in monitoring your vital signs, learning their significance, and using effective methods for regular monitoring. The curriculum includes essential topics like Basic Nutrition and meal planning, strategies for Being Healthy on a Budget, and practical advice on Growing Fresh Produce in limited spaces. You'll also enhance your Cooking skills with healthy substitutions and learn simple, enjoyable ways to incorporate Getting Active into your daily routine. This course will be offered in-person and via Zoom, with recordings made available as a self-paced resource for future on-demand learners, ensuring this valuable knowledge thrives beyond the classroom.
Classes are Weekly on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM -7:30 PM.
