Root to Rise/ Rise to Root

This collaboration with Soraya Latiff of Sovereign Pilates and Liberatory Yoga and Courtney Smith-Besser of Intune Wellness is a 3 part series that will span over this year between both of our wellness spaces located inside the Dry Ice Factory building.

Root to Rise/ Rise to Root will explore the themes of grounding and belonging, the liminal space of curiosity, and what is not so tangible, and visioning and embodiment woven through the practices of liberatory yoga and meditation through sound healing.

Each participant will have the option to either Root to Rise by starting the day with the practice of liberatory yoga followed by sound healing (10 people in each space max)

or the option of Rise to Root by starting the day with sound healing followed by liberatory yoga practice. (10 people in each space max)

*Day of the event each participant will use their intuition and choice to decide their own personal flow for the day (Root to Rise or Rise to Root) first come first served in regards to 10 people in each space (Sovereign and Intune Wellness ) with each practice.

9:30am arrival/ opening and intentions with Soraya & Courtney

10-11:00am 1st practice (liberatory yoga or sound healing)

11:00am-11:30 am community tea time, light snacks, rest, integration

11:30am-12:30pm 2nd practice (sound healing or liberatory yoga)

12:30pm-12:45pm closing/ integration
