About this Event
The traditional art scene is notorious for strict gatekeeping, endless submission hurdles, and arbitrary elitism. We are here to smash those doors wide open.
On August 28th from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at 253 Auburn Ave, Atlanta Art Events is creating a space built by artists, for artists. Zero gatekeeping, zero favoritism. Whether you're an established artist or stepping out for the very first time, if you want to showcase your work or compete on the canvas, the mic and the floor are yours—strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Multi-Level Experience
Across three floors, we’re blending fine art, live performance, food, and culture into one night against the Atlanta skyline:
Level 1 features a bustling pop-up market alongside a full bar and tapas lounge—the ultimate spot to kick back, eat, and shop local talent.
Level 2 hosts the open "Show + Tell" Art Exhibit paired with a live DJ set, giving local creators a direct line to art lovers.
Level 3 brings the excitement to the roof with a Sunset Concert and the high-energy Rooftop Live Art Battle.
Two Ways to Take the Stage (First Come, First Served)
We have eliminated the bureaucracy so you can focus on your craft. Spaces are limited, and spots are granted as sign-ups come in:
1. Showcase in the "Show + Tell" Exhibit
No curators, no rejection letters. Secure your spot, bring two pieces in any medium along with your setup supplies, and share the story behind your work directly with the community on Level 2. Sign up early at www.atlantaartevents.art before spots fill up!
2. Battle in the Rooftop Live Art Competition
15 artists. 2 hours. One canvas each. Step up to Level 3 and create live on the roof while the crowd votes on their favorite. The fan favorite walks away with a $250 cash prize. DM or email us to claim your spot—once confirmed, bring your supplies, bring your crew, and leave it all on the canvas.
