This is a documentary primarily about Daniela Giombini, the woman who brought Nirvana to Italy and the behind the scenes story of their early tours; with the participation of Sub-Pop Records co-founder, Bruce Pavitt. This was a pivotal point in Nirvana's history and Daniela and Bruce examine the chaos and drama of Nirvana in Italy; Kurt Cobain's breakdown, suicide attempt, and more.
Nirvana footage is limited to hand-held show videos and personal photos of Kurt and the band by Bruce Pavitt and others. There is no Nirvana music in this film.
If you are a casual fan, this is not for you.
If you are a serious fan, this is a deep dive into Nirvana before the fame.

TRAILER:
In the mid-80s, a young italian music journalist, Daniela Giombini, started booking tours in Italy for international rock bands. What started almost for fun (but with a huge love for alternative music), became a full time endeavour.
Just two years later she booked the very first Italian tour for two upcoming bands from Seattle. It was 1989 and one of those bands was Nirvana.
Soon after, for Subway Productions (Daniela's company), the work became hectic and in 1991 she booked Nirvana's second Italian tour, just after the release of the "Nevermind" album.
This time all the gigs were sold out and it was hard to take care of the mass of fans without tickets gathering outside the venues wanting to get in.
In 2021, Daniela invited Bruce Pavitt, the co-founder of Sub Pop records, to come to Rome, and together they re-visited the locations were Nirvana had played; sharing emotional tales and memories.
The full picture of those amazing experiences in Rome are made complete with the memories of Italian journalists, musicians and club owners who attended or worked at the Nirvana concerts.
