Le documentaire Ninan Auassat : Nous, les enfants est un cri du coeur à une époque où la jeunesse autochtone revendique sa place et son avenir.
Avec une signature cinématographique intime et saisissante, la cinéaste Kim O'Bomsawin nous entraîne dans l'univers vivant d'adolescent·es autochtones filmés sur plus de six ans. Sans la voix d'adultes ni d'expert·es pour interpréter leur réalité, le film leur donne toute la place et révèle une génération portée par une authenticité bouleversante.
La projection sera suivie d'une discussion (les invités seront confirmés sous peu).
Présentée en collaboration avec les Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (RIDM) et le Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée.

Ninan Auassat : Nous, les enfants is a heartfelt cry at a time when Indigenous youth are claiming their place and their future.
With an intimate and striking cinematic approach, filmmaker Kim O’Bomsawin takes us into the vibrant world of Indigenous teenagers filmed over more than six years. Without the voices of adults or experts to interpret their reality, the film gives them the space to speak for themselves and reveals a generation defined by a deeply moving authenticity.
The screening will be followed by a discussion (guests to be confirmed shortly).
Presented in collaboration with the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) and the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée.
