Interested in roller derby or looking for a new sport to try? The Illinois Valley Vixens host a New Skater Practice on the first Wednesday of every month for anyone curious about joining roller derby.These practices are designed for skaters who are brand new to derby or considering becoming part of the league. No prior roller derby or skating experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know.
What to expect:
• Introduction to basic skating and roller derby skills
• Meet current league members and learn how practices run
• Supportive, low-pressure environment
• No obligation to join. Just come check it out
Loaner gear is available for those who don’t have their own equipment.
