Manderley Strings was founded in 2009 to fill the need for a local strings wedding ensemble, Manderley Strings now has provided live music for venues and events from downtown Chicago to St. Louis and everywhere in between. Over the years our personnel has varied and the repertoire has gone from strictly classical to including jazz and popular music. Our combined university and conservatory training as teachers and performers brings both technical mastery and accessibility to the community. As most of us teach music in private studios, we locally advocate for strings education by sharing our talents individually and as a group with local schools and churches on a regular basis.
