Join Matris Robotic Workshops, where students explore the exciting fields of robotics, coding, AI, and 3D design with Tinkercad through hands-on learning. Designed for two age groups—5-9 and 10-14—these sessions integrate science, mathematics, and design technology (DT) concepts, ensuring alignment with the UK National Curriculum.
With over a decade of experience in STEM education, we provide age-appropriate and engaging activities that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and a passion for innovation.
🔧 What Your Child Will Learn:
- For Ages 5-9:
Introduce younger learners to the fundamentals of robot building, basic coding, and the principles of motion and energy through simplified, hands-on activities that encourage play and exploration. - For Ages 10-14:
Older students tackle more complex robotics and coding challenges, learn to integrate AI, and create technical 3D drawings using Tinkercad, fostering deeper STEM understanding and practical skills.
🎓 Key Highlights for All Students:
- Build and Code Robots: Assemble robots and program them to solve real-world challenges.
- Apply Science and Math: Explore physics concepts like energy and force, and math principles like geometry and measurement to enhance robot designs.
- AI in Robotics: Discover how artificial intelligence adds intelligence and autonomy to robots.
- 3D Technical Drawing: Use Tinkercad software to design and document robot creations, connecting robotics with modern design tools.
- Play and Compete: Engage in friendly robot challenges like obstacle navigation, robot battles, and problem-solving games.
