We’re excited to welcome Robbie Johnson to The Backyard.
Robbie grew up surrounded by the mountains and folk music of Canmore, and for the last five years he’s proudly called Squamish home. With roots in classic country and a deep love for storytelling through song, his performances bring a warm and familiar feel — the kind of music that invites you to settle in and stay a while.
You’ll hear favourites inspired by the greats — Johnny Cash, Bruce Cockburn, Mark Knopfler, Corb Lund, David Francey — alongside a mix of contemporary folk and timeless tunes that span generations. It’s heartfelt, thoughtful music with a little dust on its boots and a whole lot of charm.
Join us for a relaxed Sunday evening of good food, good company, and great live music from someone who is very much part of the Squamish community.
