Award-winning singer songwriters Mike McKenzie and ROB.GREEN come together for a special one-off acoustic double headline show at Edinburgh’s prestigious Voodoo Rooms Speakeasy.Known for their soulful songwriting, heartfelt storytelling and powerful live performances, both artists will perform intimate solo headline sets, sharing personal stories and stripped-back arrangements in one of the city’s most atmospheric music rooms
Expect an evening of moving songs, rich vocals, humour, honesty and connection — a rare chance to experience two acclaimed independent artists up close in an intimate setting.

About the Artists:
Mike McKenzie is a BBC award winning songwriter from Edinburgh, Scotland. While spending most of his career behind the scenes as a freelance writer, producer and musician, Mike began his solo project in 2017. Since then, he has released multiple singles, EP’s and, most recently, his debut solo album "I'd Wait Again". Described by the list as “A melting pot of Scottish folk, jangle pop and Americana”, “Gorgeous” by Jo Whiley and “An outstanding talent” by Grant Stott, Mike has received airplay from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4, BBC Scotland and over 120 regional stations throughout the UK.
Outside of his solo work, Mike is a prolific writer and collaborator, having previously worked with Creative Scotland, LGBT Health & Wellbeing, PJ Moore (The Blue Nile) and Black Lilys as well as regularly writing with upcoming and established artists around the world.

ROB.GREEN is a soulful singer, songwriter and performer from Nottingham, England. Blending elements of soul, gospel, rap and poetry, Rob creates music that is both powerful and intimate, exploring themes of identity, sexuality, belonging and community.
Described by Blues & Soul Magazine as delivering a “red hot sound and sublime vocal skills”, Rob’s captivating live performances across the UK and Europe — often armed only with his loop pedal, acoustic guitar and signature soulful vocal — have seen him share stages with legendary acts including Eric Bibb, Alexander O’Neal and Earth, Wind & Fire.
